My bro, who lives in L.V. and has a cox.net address, called this evening and said he has been trying to send me emails for three days now. He said he also tried to send to my friend Sue with no luck. Emails just bounce back as undeliverable with an error message.

Both Sue and I have a citlink.net address.

After I got booted from the poker tourny tonight , I called my ISP and explained that I have been unable to receive emails from my bro. After talking for a while, she (tech support) asked what my bros domain address is. I said cox.net. BOINK !!!! She said, "that's it"!!! I said, that's what? She explained that someone from cox.net sent a virus to some (don't know how many) addresses at citlink.net. In turn, my ISP shut down all incoming mail to citlink.net from cox.net.

She said incoming mail would be down for a day or two or three until they can install some sort of higher security system.

The light just came on too. Chuck Smorse tried to email me a couple of days ago and said it bounced. I haven't looked yet, but i'm bettin' he has a cox.net address.

So.......if you have a cox.net address and try to email me, it probably won't work. At least for a while.

Anyway, just something i've never heard of and thought i'd share.
