In AC on a Friday and Saturday, the craps tables are all likely to be $10 or more minimum and very crowded.

The Borgata is a lot of fun and they have all nice new tables and chips (this is my son's favorite place to play).

I like to stay at the Showboat or the Taj Mahal and thus I play there a lot but I really like the layout of the table area at the Tropicana (they give it a LOT of space unlike most casinos that are trying to give all the floor space to slots).

At the Taj Mahal, you can go to pit 8 and ask for collector chips
