I don't understand the NFL's stance at all. It isn't as if the program is a pay-per-view telecast where they would be losing revenue, it is a broadcast on network television, free to anyone capable of receiving the signal. Since nobody has to purchase a license to receive the signal, the usage of that signal should be outside the realm of the NFL. The casinos weren't selling the broadcast, they were selling the parties. The casinos weren't rebroadcasting the original broadcasts, they were providing the live free television programming.
I'd be inclined to pursue a cease and desist order by the casino owners' association against the NFL concerning what the casinos provide as entertainment on their private property if I were involved...
