When I stayed at Vegas World around 1987, we were given about $100 worth of the promotional tokens, but they had to go into special slot machines with very low payoffs. My buddy hit a sizeable jackpot (for those machines) and we ended up staying 3 nights for free. I see them selling for about $1-3 on ebay, but I haven't kept track. I'm sure some have sold for more. Vegas World also gave us chips to be used for blackjack or craps only (see scan below). They worked like matchplay coupons. If you won, you got a real $5 chip. If you lost, you lost. We won enough to pay for all of our meals for our entire stay in Vegas. I wish I had kept the chips!
