Yahoo, like so many companies, is using that to create "pop ins" (those items than run across the screen) to get around the "pop up" blockers.

Try this:

Can you open www.yahoo.com ?

If so, click on the mail icon and see if it will let you into your mailbox.

This is a way "around" your My Yahoo page that is giving you trouble.
