I also use the 2x2" cardboard mylar flips that fit into plastic pocket pages, and put them into 3-ring binders. I don't know if the pockets are PVC or archival plastic, but the chip itself only comes into contact with the supposedly safe mylar. If anyone has any bad experiences with mylar, I haven't heard of them. Most folks say mylar is the way to go.
