There is something just not quite right about some of the unauthorized items being sold on Ebay. For example, "Song of the South". There is an individual selling this item and has been selling Song of the South for nearly a year now, and it's obvious that it's the same person. However, Ebay let's this person constantly get on Ebay.
Sellers on Ebay know that you must have a credit card and legitimate bank account information to log on as a user on Ebay. So, either this person has had a different credit card and bank account number every other day for the past year or it's someone working at Ebay doing this stuff. Someone with the ability to bypass having to verify with Ebay.
Let's be realistic copies of Song of the South alone is easily a multi million dollar industry. With all of its controversy and its not ever being released by Disney.
Consider this, Ebay's community watch team is supposedly looking out for the customer in regards to people selling unauthorized copies, replica bags, and other scams. But yet, there are lists and lists of replica bags and illegal copies being sold on Ebay every day. Some of which has never been removed.
Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, certain items like copies of "Song of the South" or replica Louis Vuitton handbags are million dollar Cash Hogs. And that Ebay Community Watch Team has realized this. Just think, if you are in the position to suspend just certain people, lets say "The competition", then you have open market on a site that billions of customers come to every day. You might want to think about that.
