All of the chips in my scans are real chips. I have them. That means samples were made.
Not sure if I've seen production chips on any of them but the C suits.
That does not mean a lot. I've had samples for years before I ever saw a real chip. A good example is the incused rectangle mold. Actual chips showed up a few years ago on KY illegals from the 40's. Now I've seen a number of different ones on the mold.
