Reminds me of the day of my visit to the casino in 1986. Was at a long conference in Troia (across from Sethubal) by the sea. When the conference ended my wife and I wanted to go south and spend the weekend at VilaMoura (Moorish Village: one of the last strongholds of the Moors before they were vanquished by the Spainards) before flying back to US. Stayed at Hotel Dom Pedro and I won a bit playing blackjack at the casino a few minutes away one evening. Very nice country and very friendly people. Have good memories of the place. Should have saved a few chips maybe.
