The second one from the left is my daughter (the tall one with the bandages keeping her kneecaps in place). I'm glad cross country season is over... she's spent every evening for the past 4 months with ice packs on her shins.

The picture was taken last weekend in Fresno at the California state cross country championships. These girls came in 3rd in Division III, after winning the State Division IV championship 3 years running (so to speak). No one expected them to have a chance in this higher division (since this year's huge freshman class pushed the enrollment over 1,000), but they came through big time.

I'm a proud papa!
