Funny thing. I read all these stories on the BB about collectors getting stopped for taking chips out of a casino. I have never been stopped once.

I just walk up to the cage/table and buy what I want, stick them in my pocket(s) and walk off. I went to the cage of the Flordia Hard Rock Casino Poker Room and bought 2 racks of 25 cent chips, a rack of 50 cent chips and about a half a rack of others. They ask me if I had something to put the chips in and I said no. So they even gave me the racks too. (Talk about a big grin on my face, I even gave the lady a $20 tip.) In their defense I must say they had only been open a couple of months at most. They probably had never run into a really dedicated chip collector.

I turned around, walked the whole length of the casino with 3 1/2 racks of chips and went straight to my car and put them in. I got the eye but no one stopped me including the security guy that held the door open for me. Dave,here on the BB, bought a rack of the 25 cent chips. I kept the rest for my home poker set. By the way Dave,if you would like to sell that rack of 25 cent chips back, I will gladly show you a small profit. LOL

I don't know what to say, but I have never had the first second of having trouble getting chips. I guess if your a Hillbilly from West Virginia you can get away with a lot because of your honest looking face and being dumb enough to try anything. ROFL
