Because of the changes in Iowa law last summer parimutual tracks in Iowa are now allowed to have table games and video poker and video keno. Below is text taken from the Prairie Meadows website.

Remodelling is well underway as we gear up for the addition of table games at Prairie Meadows.

In our Grandstand area, we'll offer Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette. High stakes blackjack will also be available in our High Rollers area.

If poker's your game, our poker room on Clubhouse Level 4 should have just what you're looking for. This non-smoking room will house nine poker tables, including Texas Hold'em.

Target date is December 15. We'll keep you posted.
