This red cover may not be much to look at, but it's one of the hardest of the Sal Sagev downtown matches to find. I've had this one for a couple of years, looking for a full book. Finally found one at the Palms show for $50!

Sal Sagev (Las Vegas, backwards) was the name of the Golden Gate Hotel from the 1920's until 1955. this match looks to me to be from the late 1930's to early 40's. Maker is Diamond Match.

I'd like to trade this cover for another old Nevada matchbook or cover that I need. Or will sell for $12 delivered.
