NCV My favorite tournament structure NCV

While playing in my usual daily hold-em game this morning, the discussion was centered around the internet poker tournamant structures.

Someone mentioned the "Sit and Go" tournaments on PokerStars. Tonight I tried it and absolutely love it--without doubt my favorite as of this date. It sure beats playing in tournaments with between 1,200 and 5,000 participants to compete against.
One can play for many different levels. All the way from a free roll to cash buy-in of between $5.00 to $5,000. Games consist of heads up (such as is being played Wednesday evening on Greg's BB,) to as many as 3 tables--the majority, however, are 2 table tournaments (18 players.)

On second thought, the "sit and go" tournamnets are exactly what Todd set up for us on our Wednesday night poker games. No wonder I like it so well.

A new game starts almost every minute or two (at least at the lower levels which I play.)

I played in two games tonight ($5.00 plus 0.50¢) lost in both of them but had a great time for a $11.00 investment. A great way to practice your tournament play.

Try it, you might like it.

BTW, good luck to all in Wednesday's night BB Tournament. I'll be watching with as much excitment as if I were playing.
