It is COMPLETELY accurate. It clearly states that slabbing is a process of grading. If you no longer agree with your own definition, change it.

However, club members should think long and hard about this. I've seen chips encased in everything from key rings to toilet seats. If the mere placing of a chip in a container consitutes a slab, then there are a lot of slabbers out there.

If someone simply packaged a coin or a baseball card, nobody gives a damn. It is the grading of those items that adds the value and (for chippers) creates the overall problem.

Why can't there be general agreement about that?

Sheeeesh...
