Trust me, even that doesn't help sometimes. I often get repsonses back "I don't know" to questions about what state or casino a chip came from.

I've asked "Is this a satin or linen finish", or is this a RES-2.5a (light print) or RES-2.5b (dark print) and was told "I have no idea".

Post after post on this board about misleading ebay auctions I believe are often simple ignorance on the part of the seller.

I guess it is pretty much on the collector/buyer to properly identify what he is buying. Which, of course, is the primary reason for joinng the club and reading this board

Now, if only someone could identify the chip shown below so that I will no longer be ignorant about it
