Jung & Pfaender list an inlay 50¢ chip but no color. Will consider variations when I see these Cummins chips in the future! Dug out Doug (Doug out Dug) Saito's ChipChat auction on these chips, #28 12/02 and he fails to mention the hotstamps as Santa Rosa. J&P list the hs as Santa Rosa. Doug pictured the half w/dark colored city name.
Steve Goodrich notes on the Seattle chips "(probably promotional chips for his concession at the fair)" and lists the inlaid $1 and $1.25 AND a "BRW" hotstamp $1.25 with the note "this may be Cal."! Although the hotstamp chips don't list a location, there isn't any J&P or Saito listing for a $1.25 hs either. Great chips and fun to collect. Has anyone put a definite purpose to any of these chips? Got this tasty matchbook from my buddy Mark E.!
