I got this chip at the Palms Show, I believe from Henry Garrett who was breaking up an old California chip collection. Eastman attributes it to the Powell in San Francisco in the 1940's. What's unusual is the mold, which is Rectangles, 20 according to RobertE's mold project. I have a sample chip with this mold, but believe this is the only real chip I've seen.
Robert's web site mentions it was an active mold during the 1940's and seems to show up mostly on upstate New York unlicensed club chips. Has anyone else ever seen a live chip with this mold?
