What a night! 45 players...Holy Hold'em!

Seven of us still in at around 11:30. At my age 4 hours of serious poker is about my limit.

The good news is that I finally got dealt a pair.
The better news is that it was Rockets
The even better news is that the flop produced A-A-Q.
The even better news is that someone had a flush and some one else had a straight and someone else had two pair.

Played real slow and when two players went all in at the river, well I just had to join them.

The table never recovered from that one, and at 12:20 I finally went all in with 8's. An 8 on the river sealed it and my night was complete.

Win or lose I still will always treasure the perfect timing of the Quad Aces. I did offer to split the pot when it was head to head, but this young fella was not interested.

Take home was $375. I'm tired but going to bed happy. First place...nice money....didn't hit a deer on the way home, what more could I have asked for.
