I have a question for you. I must admit I don't usually read your banknote posts so this topic may have been discussed before and I missed it. If so, sorry to repeat a question.
Anyway, I just received these banknotes from my nephew whose currently stationed in Fallujah. What took us all by surprise is that there is English printed on the back of the notes. I realize that we're not the only country that speaks English, but why would Iraq, with it's intense hate of America and everything we stand for, print their money in English?
The top note has a back similar to the bottom note and is worth "Five Dinars". The bottom note has a front that's very similar to the top note.
