Tonight's BONUS banknote comes from a little heard about country of Estonia. The Republic of Estonia (formerly the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic of the USSR) is the northernmost of the three Baltic states in eastern Europe. August 1991 Estonia gained its independance. The note is a 1992 (first issued currency) issue 2 Krooni. It features K. E. von Bear on the front left and Tartu University in the center on the back. This is a rather plain note in color and design and lacks any complex security features. The largest denomination used in Estonia is the 500 Krooni. The 2 Krooni has a collector value of $1.00 UNC. Hope You Enjoy!
