I agree with you 100 percent...

BUT, the real Ebay world doesn't work that way with some of these scumbags.

I just recently bought a large lot of glass stuff. Seller states $20.00 shipping in ad. Fine with me this stuff is heavy.

Auction ends...I do paypal and add the $20.00 shipping...Seller comes back and says..."Whoa, wait a minute, I miscalculated the shipping, I have now packed the stuff and the revised shipping charge is $42.00 plus $16.50 handling because of all the bubble wrap I had to use to pack this stuff securely."

Ok, now just a minute...nowhere in your ad did you even mention a handling/packing fee. Your postage calculator clearly said $20.00.Now you are trying to hit me for more money.

We are at an impasse...He won't ship unless I pay him the extra money..and I am not going to pay it.

We will let Square Trade settle it, but this is the kind of abusive crap I am talking about. It is rampant and getting worse.
