That book has ruined a lot of poker players. It is a great book, IF, you are going to play nothing but High Stakes No Limit Hold-em. It is worthless for anything other than that. Read many good beginner books if just starting, then play and get experience till comfortable at tables, then you can read some of the more advanced books. There are many that are good depending on your taste.
