with shipping and the PayPal exchange rate, I am paying $7.0498 per chip. An asking price of $30 would represent 425.543987% of the cost of the chip, for a mark up of 325.543987% ( i.e., in calculating the mark up of a particular item, you must first subtract its cost-- a $5 item selling for $10 is a mark-up of 100%, not 200%).

Of course, taking into account the cash back bonus award from charging it to my Discover on the plus side, and the fact that I would likely throw in shipping on the minus side, actual mileage may vary. vbg
