Agree, my Kodak Easyshare, bought new, 2 MP with "close up" makes crappy close ups and chip pictures.

I do use a scanner.

My old Mavica 640 x 480 camera makes better close ups and pictures for eBay.

Sometimes more isn't better.

I guess it's time to do one of those comparison messages of the same chip. I did one awhile back and the "good" camera was so crappy I didn't bother posting it.

Proper lighting does make them better, but it's too much work. If it's a chip, a scanner wins hands down.
