Tonight's note comes from the British Colony of Gibraltar just south of Spain on the southernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula. It is a commemorative millennium issue (2000) 5£ note. The front features the Queen on the right, a large pot and a porpoise in the left center with the Queen as the watermark. On the back it features the Gibraltar monkey at left, city and harbor view at center. This note carries enhanced security features not used on previous notes of Gibraltar.
