Got back tonight from Vegas. Tim and I had a great time, him especially so since it was his first time there. We had free tickets and back stage invites to Ba-Da-Bing at the Stardust and Downtown Gordie Brown at The Golden Nugget.

Our 1st night, the 28th., we arrived, checked in, and I brought Tim out to Freemont St. We got 52oz Footballs of beer at the 4-Queens. We walked over towards the center of the street, and almost as if on cue we heard the Bling! of music and the Casino's shut their lights. Tim had no clue as to what was going on. Then he remembered what I had told him about Freemont Street. He was mesmerized.

We ate a couple of times, and watched games in the Triple Seven brew pub at Main Street Station. This place is great! Huge portions of grub and 23oz beers! A very friendly atmosphere with a nice mix of tourists and locals. Here's an example of the friendliness of this place: We watched the Jets/Miami game. I was pretty much the only Dolphins fan there. Folks took great delight, Tim included, in pointing out the vast point spread as they walked by me. But when the game was over some folks sent shots over to me. When the waitress would point out who sent it they would say stuff like maybe next time, and no hard feelings!

We played alot at the Plaza, well, actually I lost alot on Baccarat at the Plaza. We liked The California and believe it or not The Gold Spike (in the daytime that is!). The Gold Spike turned Timmy into a penny-slot-junkie!

Halloween Night we were supposed to go to a Heavy Metal Concert at the House of Blues. We had both got hammered the night before, and were'nt up to it. We scalped the ticks, and started a Casino Crawl. (We bought at least 2 drinks at each casino listed, or one drink and a pee break.)

Mandaly Bay - Luxor - Excaliber - NYNY - MGM - Package Store - Alladin (called friends at 3am their time!) - Paris (pee break) - Barbary Coast (almost got thrown out cuz we had 40oz in glass) - Flamingo (got yard long mixed drinks.) Frontier (took cab home to Nugget.)

Didn't do any chippin', unless chippin' includes losing nearly $200.00 on Baccarat!

Both Tim and I R thinkin' of another Halloween trip. How come the never had a Halloween meeting?
