The terrorists weren't and aren't "a country", but are known to be concentrated in some countries and coddled by said countries. Better to fight them there than fight them here.

The current unemployment rate is lower than the average unemployment rate during the 1990's, 1980's and 1970's. How many freaking jobs do you need?!?

"Our enviornment is in the worst condition in history."

I'll assume you meant "environment". You must have never seen the air in Los Angeles in the 70's....

"We have lost our civil liberties."

If you mean we are placing greater scrutiny on people in our country because terrorists killed about 3000 people here, perhaps you'd feel better if we did nothing and waited for it to happen again....
