Bob, I totally agree with you and Archie has a point too. I just wish Archie wouldn't take this so personally. There are always others in line, buying relatively large quantities, not for NIS customers, but for speculation, hoarding and greed!
Also, Archie said; "I have a personal opinion that casino operators are not maximizing their own profit potential and they miss supplying their customer base when they issue small numbers of popular chips that they know are going to sell out ... but that's a business decision they have made for their own reasons."
In my opinion profit potential is hurt if the market is saturated. There is no profit in destroying unsold chips or when chips are redeemed at the cage!
