I empathize your situation Al. I had the same thing happen to me with those NCV "Live" chips! I would like to have one of those Marina July 4th chips, of which only 100 were produced and I can have one if I'm willing to pay $200+. I'll bet the people that own one are damn glad there are only 100! How about the $20 Sands? A fairly scarce and valuable chip is now common. Or the $20 Harrah's? To me this is the fun of the hobby. There must be these "Low Mintage" chips every now and then to keep the hobby interesting. Furthermore, I can't attend every release and when I miss one I too have friends or use a new issue service. Also, when I do attend a release, I always go through the line several times getting chips for different people at the release that didn't get enough. Most of whom I know the faces but not the names and some neither. A nice way to make new friends.
