never taken from my account. I have received numerous "fake" e-mails from both eBay or PayPal pretenders and have never clicked on a link or responded to them -- they all get forwarded to or PayPal. But this one looked like an exact duplicate of a PayPal payment notice, that did give me cause for concern. I checked my account and no payment had been made and then I did as you did...checked out by item number and it didn't match what was said I had bought.

Any and all notices from or PayPal that are not confirmations of what I know that I have done, automatically get sent to "spoof@....". Steve B
