but when I was in Chicago for Card games in the 60
s & 70's the Cubby fans were great--I didn't sit in the left field bleachers, however. I also keep reading in national sports mags that the rivalry is intense but good natured. If the Cubbies get a new manager next year and don't have arm trouble woes I'll be the first to congratulate them on the 2005 National League Championship and root for them to beat the Yankees (since George will buy up all available pitching between now and February).
