Jenny & I took Rooster to the Keene, NH Pumpkin Festival on Saturday. I thought you would get a kick out of a few photos.

The entire downtown district is closed to vehicular traffic and every patch of ground is covered with carved pumpkins. At each end of town a huge scaffold, holding several thousand pumpkins, is set up This year's total was 27,000+. Keene hold the world's record, set last year, for most Jack O'Lanterns assembled in one place: 28,000+. To see this at night is really, really something!

If you're going to be in New England next October it's worth the trip!
