I believe Ed was just trying to help you out, and it doesn't help your case much by telling people not to post who are just trying to give potentially useful information to someone who appears to be fairly new to the board.
Personally, I have a set of around 1300 of the Paulson Isthmus chips that I use for my home game. However, I wouln't dream of selling them for less that $2 a chip. Not because I believe they are worth that, necessarily, but because that's what the market (eBay) seems to think they are worth (well, closer to $2.50 as of late).
Additionally, I could argue to myself that they are worth more than $2/chip, since most of the $100 and $500 are the 'cog' and 'hex' inlays that are considerably more rare than the regular round inlays, and the fact that a buyer wouldn't have to acquire them in batches of 20. But since I'm not desparate to sell them or need the money, such an exercise would not be useful.
Anyway, I don't mean to poke my nose into places where I ought not to, but you'll catch more flies with honey than vinegar, is all I'm saying . Keep watching eBay auctions, and you could get lucky. Or, I am of the personal opinion that once B et G turns Paulson around, they will sometime in the future open again to selling to non-casino entities. Here's hoping, anyway!!

P.S. I have about 100 or so of the $100 and $500 (both round inlays) that I would be willing to let go for $1.75 each, if you are interested.
