I recently down graded my PayPal account from a Business Account to a Personal Account. But my account still stated that I took credit cards. I don't take credit/debit cards because the fees are just too high. I tried to remove the bar with all the little credit cards on it so it would not appear on my listing. I couldn't do it.

In frustration I called PayPal. After about a 10 minute wait I finally got a live human being. The lady was nice but after another 10 minute wait while she checked with someone, she came back and said it could not be done. I was stuck with the bar of credit cards if I wanted to display the PayPal logo.

I told her that I was having some negitive responses from my customers. She said, "Well, don't you have it written in your Instructions to Buyers that you don't accept credit cards?" I replied in the affirmative that I did and she said, "Well it is not our fault or your fault that they can't read."

Do you believe that? I asked what I thought was a simple question and PayPal insults my customers and me. eBay and PayPal are getting harder and harder to live with.
