Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the chip release program. I don't like these lists -- with people who are in the know getting chips while others are shut out. Actually I don't even like LE's in general.
But my point is that for those who like LE's you need to recognize that "Gaming" doesn't exist for collectors. If you don't like a casino's chip release policy, complain to the management or stop buying the chips or stop promoting the secondary market for those chips, but don't call gaming.
Remember a while back when gaming supposedly cracked down on collectors -- the rumored restrictions on chips (I still don't know exactly what is true and what isn't) -- do you think that was the result of gaming actually caring about collectors or about them being tired of dealing with the complaints that had nothing to do with the responsibilities of the agency.
