I've got mixed feelings about publishing "everything" on-line. There are some among us who abuse the work and effort that authors have put into publishing such reference materials on collector's behalf.

Nothing pis*es me off more than to see an ebay seller using scans from my website in their offerings. The chip image taken from my website is not the actual chip that the seller is selling. It is a scan of the chip in my personal collection in 99% of the cases.

Ebay sellers ought to scan their own chips ... not take somebody else's scans. I also know of reports of a few people who have photocopied some catalogs and have distributed copies to other collectors. This copyright abuse also discourages authors from making their works more publicly available on-line.
