Hmmm...In Mike Christensen's post, above, he states that he purchased 340,000 - yes three hundred forty thousand - of these chips. And these chips do always seem to be for sale on eBay. Now the seller in this eBay auction ("sapphiredelight") is selling a set of 502 of these chips. The seller describes the chips as being "VERY SCARCE". I wonder, just how many (or few) examples of a chip should be in collector's hands for the chip to be considered "VERY SCARCE", rare, etc? Judging by the vast number of eBay auctions that claim to be selling rare or scarce chip(s), I've drawn the conclusion that only one thing makes chips rare...(drum roll, please)...selling them on eBay!
