Don't forget High Value chips

Also Julie, a chip that has no market is usually a chip that has retained its full face value. Example, No one would collect a London Club $10,000,000 plaque since it is still value at $10,000,000.

Only in rare cases are there individual collectors out there collecting $5000+ face value chips that are still “live” chips. There would be very little value over face value for a live $5000 chip. So that chip would have no collectable “market value”.
