I could'nt agree more. You are a fool if you don't insure an item with any significant value. That value is of course up to the shipper. What I'm saying is that if you can afford to lose a item valued @ $500 than so be it. But you are STILL responsible!!! I usually dont insure anything under $25. But $500 is a different story altogether. I never really understood why the buyer was responsible for not receiving a item. Your Dell analogy could not have been better. Good job. I hope this wakes some of the sellers out there. Stop being so cheap and insure the damn things, especially a $500 item!
