I sold a chip on ebay for $505 to James Hackett who goes by ChipColumbus on ebay and because he chose not to insure it for full value, I get screwed. Paypal has a provision that says if the seller doesn not provide tracking ONLINE of any item shipped, the buyer WILL be refunded his money if he says that he did not receive it! The buyer only insured the chip for $100 and then said that he did not get it. I went to the Post Office to about the claim for him and to try to find it and they said it was lost. I filed the claim with the buyer as the person to get the $100 and this Hackett jerkoff files a claim with paypal saying that I DID NOT SHIP the chip the correct way and I should have paid all the insurance and that I did not tell him that $505 worth of insurance was more the $2. Even though I shipped the chip insured for the $100 that the buyer paid for, because it could not be tracked on line, Paypal took $509 ($505 plus $4 shipping & insurance) OUT OF MY ACCOUNT! Don't make the same mistake, DON'T SHIP ANYTHING TO PAUL HACCKETT OR ANYONE ELSE WHO PAYS WITH PAYPAL WITHOUT FULL INSURANCE OR SOME ONLINE FORM OF TRACKING THE SHIPMENT. This JERKOFF James Hackett made me responsible for his lack of insurance when the item was lost! Should I file a claim with the club? What are my options? I get screwed because this jerkoff didn't insure his package for full value. I will never accept another paypal payment in any auction. Hopefully you will also see this and not make the same mistake. Let me know your thoughts.
