well of course I can't, but that won't stop me from trying!!

I just had to have an excuse to show off the latest addition to my nautical-themed study (with a heavy pirate slant). Given my limited creativity and artistic abilities, the plaque was the best I could do . And of course, I have to find a way to work it into my Halloween decorations that will be going up this weekend as well.

BTW, if anyone was at the Treasure Island auction last year, I would be interested to know what day(s) it was held. Although I decided to go with a more generic pirate motif instead of highlighting it's tie to gaming (based on my decision to put it in the study and not in the game room), such a tidbit would be useful to know. After all, the true fun of anything such as this is boring someone who happens to ask with all of the nauseating details .
