I spent a lot of nights at BH in the Schilling era.
We were planning on being there the night it burned to see John Davidson. I opted to play poker and the wife was not happy about that. As it turned out, we watched the fire from the yard where the poker game was. I figured I won the lotto that night as most of the deaths were in the room where Davidson was performing.

I knew the Schillings pretty well, there was no gambling in those years.
