... Mike. My condolences to you, your family and especially your Dad. Having been in his position myself five years ago, I know how difficult life is going to be for him. During the weeks and months after my wife died, nothing meant more to me than the support of my family, especially my children, and my friends, including many in the chipping community. Stay close to your Dad -- he needs you now more than ever.
One more thing -- if I can presume to give advice on this subject -- consider grief counselling for him (and for yourself, too). Not necessarily right away, but after the initial period of shock and grief subsides. I went after a couple of months and believe it was very helpful.
