Nevada gambling regulators confiscate $26,000 in fake chips

Nevada gambling regulators say they have confiscated about $26,000 in fake chips.

The chips were spotted at a northern Nevada casino last month by a cage employee and reported to authorities.

Keith Copher, enforcement chief for the Nevada Gaming Control Board, says no arrests have been made in the case.

Copher says the fakes were of high quality and hard to differentiate from the real casino chips.

Copher says it's been several years since regulators last ran into fake chips.
