Ed,
I'm not sure if it's the dice, the scan, or our t.v. monitor....to me, your dice look like the sides might be "caving in" slightly? If they are, you need to smell them...if they have an aroma similar to vinegar keep 'em away from any other dice that you have. The vinegar smell and "imploding" sides are signs that they're starting to deteriorate, and they could infect other dice.

Hopefully it's the t.v. monitor, not the dice.
