... like most self-professed right wingers, you are so far off the scale to the right, you can't tell the difference between a liberal (which I am not) and a libertarian (which I am).
Oddly enough, those who DO understand the difference know that the libertarian philosophy is much closer to classic conservativism (not neoconservativism) than it is to liberalism.

I plead guilty to being older than I'd like. Naive? I don't think so. As for "self-serving liberalism", I challenge you to point me to a single post which I have EVER made which expresses "self-serving liberalism". Of course, I don't expect you can or will do so -- or admit that you can't -- because that's just the nature of the idealogical beast (just ask Stu Grant -- I'm still waiting for his response to a much simpler challenge).
