Ok thanks to everybody who responded but i think some misunderstood me. i was not asking, is it worth being in it for the money. rather, i was trying to establish whether i stood to lose a whole lot of money if i say, purchase a few vegas $1 arodie, thinking later if i changed my mind i might be able to recoup reasonable costs. i am a collector (trader), a buyer and a seller in that order, and hope i always will be.
i was also asking what you thought of the risks relative to other hobbies, such as coins and sports cards.
