I see where Bush is not going to renew the ban on assault type weapons…..
1) Will this make it easier for John Q. Public to buy these? Y/N
2) IF YES Will that put more in the John Q. Public’s hands that can sold/traded/lost to theft. Y/N
3) IF YES Could any of these additional weapons be used in the commission of a crime? Y/N
4) IF YES Could any of these cause an accidental death? Y/N
5) IF YES Is this a good thing (allowing them back into the general public) ? Y/N This could put road rage in a new category! LOL Well, maybe not they are rational people too….
This was not a ban on guns that would violate your constitutional rights to bear arms, this was a ban on guns that were considered assault type (not my definition) only. One final question, SHOULD there be a limit on types of weapons the public can own? From a .22 cal rifle to a nuclear weapon, where is the line if any?
I find it odd that passengers are restricted more and more as to what they can carry on public transportation or to a public gathering like concerts etc. yet weapons designed for killing people are being relaxed for sale to the general public.
