Since the cost involved in shipping the club mag occupies a substantial percentage of the the club's annual budget, I wonder if ways of saving money have been investigated.

I couple of possible ways of saving postage have come to mind:

If a chapter (or whatever chapters are now called) meeting was held within a week or two after the publication of the mag, I think there would be a substantial savings if mags for all attending the chapter meeting were FedExed overnight. The chapter president would submit a list to Ralph well in advance of mailing. Of course there would have to be a minimum number of people to make it worthwhile.

Another possible savings -- many times collectors liver near each other. I, for one, would not mind driving over to Archie's house to pick up my mag (especially since Archie is priority mail and I'm bulk!!)

I'm sure there are other ways to save money.
